Thomas M. Julian

Thomas M. Julian passed in hospice care on January 9, 2020. He was 91.
Thomas was born on July 18, 1928 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to his parents, Jefferson and Cynthia. He served in the Marine Reserves from 1948 to 1950. He married the love of his life, Eula Irene South, on June 2, 1950. The two moved to Bedford, Texas where Thomas regularly attended First Methodist Church of Bedford and worked at General Motors until retirement after 31 years. After retirement, he dedicated his remaining time as a supportive and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Thomas was a patient and supportive man with a passion for his family and The Lord. His life was a shining example of dedication, honor, and integrity. He was a man of strong conviction, yet possessing the grace and humility to understand, support, and inspire a strong and enduring family.
In 2014, after nearly 60 years in Bedford, Thomas and Irene moved to Wills Point to be closer to family where he attended Rainey Chapel Baptist Church in Edgewood with Pastor Billy Cooper.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Irene, their oldest son TJ and his spouse Terry, and their youngest son Tim and his spouse Kat. He is also survived by grandchildren Chris, Crystal, Nick, Greg, Brittany, and Taylor, as well as great grandchildren Falysha, Camry, Mady, Samuel, Mckenna, Willow, Ashton, Addilyn, and Caven. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, five sisters, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Thomas will be laid to rest in a private ceremony on January 12, 2020 at Mount Vernon City Cemetery. Pastor Billy Cooper will officiate the ceremony. Pallbearers will be Chris, Nick, Greg, and Taylor Julian, as well as Scott Larriviere and Adam Miller. The family would like to thank Hospice of East Texas for their efforts, care, and dedication.
