Abner Earl Dunlap

Abner Earl Dunlap, age 79, of Sulphur Springs, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 in Tyler, Texas.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 11-12:00 at Denton Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, Texas. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tom Dunlap, Bo Dunlap, Barry Washington, Harry Washington, Donald Washington, and Roger Dunlap.  Interment will be at the Denton Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Texas.

Abner was born to Arthur Dunlap and Bennie (Balden) Dunlap on February 15, 1942 in Franklin County. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, TA Dunlap, Curtis Dunlap, Arthur L. Dunlap, Bennie M. Dunlap, and Cappy D. Dunlap.

Survivors include his sister, Virginia Washington of Sulphur Springs, Texas; brother, J.B. Dunlap and wife, Doris of Longview, Texas and and sister-in-law, Connie Dunlap of Mt. Vernon, Texas.  Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
