Amanda Yvonne Arnold, age 41, departed on Thursday, September 2nd, 2021 in Sulphur Springs, TX and entered her heavenly home.
She was preceded in death by her father, Heinrich Hofmann and his parents, Joseph and Maria Hofmann. Her maternal grandfather, Curtis J. Suite.
She is survived by her husband, James Arnold of Mount Vernon, TX; sons, Isaiah Khan Arnold of Bluff City, TN and Alexander “Alex” Arnold of Mount Vernon, TX; daughter, Isabella “Izzy” Arnold of Mount Vernon, TX; her mother, Kathy Suite Webb and Amanda’s stepfather, Thomas G. Webb of Bluff City, TN; half-brother, Jeff Hofmann, Roanoke, VA; maternal grandmother, Margaret Collins and her husband, Tanner of Abingdon, VA; father and mother-in-law, Jim and Juanita Arnold of Mount Vernon, Texas and many other loving relatives.
Amanda was born on June 3, 1980 in Abingdon, Virginia and was a loving wife, mother and daughter and her love for the Lord led her to a gift of acts of service to others. In July 2014, she was the founder of the Madeline House and Grace Outreach which was an emergency recovery shelter for women and children. She was an Alcohol and Drug recovery Teacher and provided Bible Study at the Hopkins County Jail. She was a former Substance Abuse Teacher/Advocate and Bible Study Teacher, verbal, emotional, domestic, substance and recovery outreach services for the Franklin County Law Enforcement.
Amanda loved Psalm 34:18: The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at the Meadow Park Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Texas.
