Anna Ruth Keener

Anna Ruth Keener, age 88, of Mt. Vernon, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at her home.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home.

Ruth was born on July 3, 1933 in Blodgett, Texas to the late Hubert and Fay (Lemmons) Kennedy.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Richard Dee Keener and two sisters and one brother.

Ruth is survived by two daughters, Kathy Archer and husband, Terry of Cumming, GA and Deborah Price of Mt. Vernon, TX. 3 grandchildren, Richard Archer and wife Ufy, David Archer and wife Rachel, Aaron Archer all of Cumming, GA; a very special nephew, J.D. Crow and wife Nelda of Cookville, TX.

Family wants to give special thanks for all the prayers from Calvary Baptist Temple.  Nurse, Erica Clasby for many years of wonderful care and kindness. Support of Chambers Home Health and Staff.  Guidance comfort of Chambers Hospice Team. Help of caregiver and very close family friend, Rebecka Bryant and the late, Barbara Monroe.
