Barbara Louise Broach Black, age 74, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was 74 years of age.

Barbara was born on December 15, 1949, in Mount Pleasant, Texas, to Charles Earl and Peggy LaRue (Goode) Broach. She was married to Bobby Rex Black and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Joey Emery and Lane Harris; her mother, Peggy Broach; grandchildren, Summer and Jacob Corry, Garrett and Paige Emery, and Sydney Emery; great grandchildren, Avery Corry, Ava Corry, Jake Corry, Remiegh Kernell; sister, Becky and Mark Johnson; nephews, Chuck and Brittni Johnson, Eric and Katie Johnson, and Aaron and Meghan Johnson; Several great nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Bobby Black; son, Jon Black; father, Charles Broach; brothers, Tracy Kent Broach, and Charles Michael Broach.
