It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Bennie W. Davis, who left us peacefully on October 22, 2025, at the age of 75.
Bennie was born on March 24,1950, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Joe Wayne and Ineta Deloris (Reppond) Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Ineta Davis; and his brother, Donald Davis.
Bennie was a man of quiet curiosity, quick wit, and boundless heart. A lifelong enthusiast of videography and technology, he was always eager to learn, explore, and share his knowledge with those around him. He found joy in the simple pleasures – watching classic westerns, capturing the beauty of wildlife through his camera lens, and discovering new corners of the world alongside his devoted wife, Mary Davis. Together, they created countless memories traveling across countries and landscapes, always returning home with stories to tell and photos that spoke louder than words.
Bennie was also a gifted craftsman with a passion for carpentry. He took great pride in working with his hands, building pieces that were both practical and meaningful. Bennie’s attention to detail and creativity were evident in every project he touched.
In addition to his love of technology and photography, Bennie was a true music enthusiast. Whether listening to timeless country classics, enjoying live performances, or sharing songs that brought back cherished memories, music was a constant source of joy.
To his family, Bennie was more than a husband and father- he was a teacher, a protector, and a source of steady comfort and laughter. His legacy lives on in the love he gave, the lessons he shared, and the moments he cherished with those he held dear.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Davis; his daughter, Megan Davis; and grandchildren, Gabriel Dalrymple, Savannah Dalrymple and Emma McDaniel; and sister, Brenda Snyder. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
Graveside service will be Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Weaver Cemetery with Chaplain Eric Snyder officiating.
