Betty Frances (Dempsey) Davis age 83, of Scroggins, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at her residence.

Betty was born on February 2, 1942, in Virginia.

She married Nelson Davis on November 22, 1961.

Betty was known for helping others; she loved serving and cooking at her church in Winnsboro, Texas.

Betty is survived by her children and their spouses, Eveleen and Richard Moss, Kevin and Shannon Davis, Perry and Loretta Davis, and Renee Chauvin; 10 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren; one brother and one sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Davis; and her mother, Cindy Dempsey; her brother, Johnny Kay Dempsey; and 3 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, January 30, 2026, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home and the Funeral service will be at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 31, 2026, with Pastor JP Jobe officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Davis, Jared Davis, Joshua Moss, Jeffrey Davis, Chris Works, and Justin Reed.
