Billy Joe Brock

Billy Joe Brock, of Mount Vernon, Texas, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Billy was born on July 21, 1958, in Dallas, Texas, to Charles Ray and Eldred Princess (Boyd) Brock. Both of whom preceded him in death.

Billy worked as a general contractor for many years, dedicating his life to his craft. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and a friend.

Survivors include his son, Brandon Brock; grandchildren, Jaxton Brock and Kaydence Brock; brother, John and Sandy Brock; sisters, Pam and Richard Sullivent, and Norma and Roy Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

There will be a memorial service to honor Billy’s life will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m.
