Bobby C. Tinsley, age 85, of Mt. Vernon, Texas passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at his home.
Funeral services will be held in the Sam B. Harvey Chapel Monday, March 7, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery in Franklin County, Texas. Rev. Pepper Puryear will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Rusty Lewis, Jake Raulston, Brandon Hall, Danny Campbell, Robbie Sparks, and David Taylor.
Bob was born to George W. and Helen B. (Smith) Tinsley in Saltillo Hopkins County, Texas.
Bob was a rancher and the General Manager for Goode-Taylor Pontiac Dealership. Bob married Judy C. Taylor in Franklin County Texas on August 26, 1995.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Judy Tinsley of Mt. Vernon, Texas; his daughters, Ginger Vaughan of Palmer, Texas and Cathy (Mark) Lewis of Whitney, Texas; son, Les (Jan) Tinsley of Pittsburg, Texas.
Grandchildren, Candy (Bo) Lindsey, Christopher Vaughan, Crystal Berryman, Rusty (Whitney) Lewis, Jake (Camille) Raulston, Shannon (Brandon) Hall and Tara (Brian) Hays. 13 great grandchildren; sister, Betty Crooks of Longview, Texas; brother, Donald Tinsley of Sulphur Springs, Texas; brother-in-law, Charles E Taylor of Winnsboro, Texas. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen Tinsley; sister, Beverly Tinsley; son, David Tinsley; great granddaughters, Alice Hays and Tinsley Lewis; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William E and Joyce Taylor; brother-in-law, Ronnie Taylor.
