Brenda Jo Wardrup

Brenda Jo Wardrup, age 78, of Mesquite, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at her home.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.

Brenda was born to Boyd and Dorothy “Chitsey” Joyner on March 13, 1942 in Winnsboro, Texas.  She married Paul Wardrup on October 16, 1996 in Cypress, Franklin County, Texas.  Brenda was an arbitrator and worked for USCW. She worked closely with the leukemia foundation of Dallas. Every year she takes the children at Buckner Children’s home on a shopping spree.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 25 years, Paul Wardrup of Mesquite, Texas.  Family members; brother, Tommy Joyner of Mt. Vernon, TX; sister-in-law, Virginia Joyner of Mt. Vernon, TX; niece, Jennifer Easley of Omaha, TX; great-nephew, Jack Easley; Uncle, Raymond Chitsey of Rowlett, TX; cousins, Debra Chitsey of Dallas, TX, Karen Hipp of Mesquite, TX and Greg Chitsey of Mesquite.
