Buford Wright Gaines, Jr., age 75, of Daingerfield, Texas passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at his home.

Graveside service will be on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Bethel Cemetery in Franklin County at 4:00 pm.  Leslie Gaines will be officiating.

Buford was born on December 29, 1944 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Buford Wright Gaines, Sr. and Georgie Mae Allen Gaines. He married Marla Davis. Burford was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Johnny Gaines.

Buford is survived by his wife, Marla Gaines of Daingerfield, Texas; Sons, Tony Gaines and wife, Amy of Pittsburg, Texas, Leslie Gaines and wife, Tina of Saratoga, Texas; daughter, Debbie Gaines of Lone Star, Texas; step-son, Micah Mathis of Sulphur Springs, Texas; sisters, JoAnn Smith of Lumberton, Texas, Marsha Pedigo of Lumberton, Texas; brother, Clifford Gaines of Purley Community.
