Charles Wayne McAllister, age 78, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
Wayne was born to Charles Edward and Mary Francis (Corbitt) McAllister on September 5, 1943 in Gilmer, Texas. He married Bonnie Louise Anspon on June 28, 1975 at Perkins Chapel in Dallas, Texas. Wayne served in the U.S. Army. He worked as an executive in manufacturing. He served on the Rotary and Chamber of Commerce boards.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Leslie McAllister; brother, Tracy McAllister and sister, Kathy Isenberg.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 46 years, Bonnie McAllister of Mt. Vernon; daughter, Michelle Leigh Forehand of Aubrey, TX; son, Brett McAllister of Altoona, IA; daughter, Tiffany Crump and husband, Jason of Caldwell, TX, and son, Brian Bert McAllister of Altoona, IA.
Grandchildren, Andrew Forehand of Greenville, TX; Pyper McAllister, Bailey McAllister, Dallas McAllister, Addalyn McAllister all of Altoona, IA; Cooper Crump, Kaylee Crump, Caden Crump, Chandler Crump of Caldwell, TX and Rowyn McAllister of Ankeny, IA.
Great grandchildren, Alyssa, Carah, Yana Forehand.
Brothers, Jack Edward McAllister and wife, Vernia of Rowlett, TX, Sidney McAllister and wife, Cathy of Garland, TX; sister, Janey Weems and husband, Allan of Perryville, TX, Melinda Mase and husband, David of Winnsboro; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Duane and Susan Anspon of Pittsburg, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home Chapel from 6-8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Ethel Channon, Jason Crump, Brian McAllister will be officiating.
