Cory Don Chronister

Cory Don Chronister, age 43, of Mount Vernon, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at his home.

Cory was born in Dallas, Texas, to Doyle Gene Chronister, Jr. and Tina Williams. He was employed by Taco Casa.

He is survived by his twin brother, Curtis; his father, Doyle Gene Chronister, Jr. and Rebecca; his mother, Tina Young; his grandparents, Sandra Wells, Doyle Chronister, Sr. and Cindy; his siblings, Michael Chronister, Marty Chronister, Adam Chronister, Clara Chronister, Crystal Chronister, and Lena Moore; nieces, Selena Moore and Kylie Chronister, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

Cory was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clay Wells; grandmother, Karen Chronister; great grandmother, Martha Redburn.

A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Abundant Grace Assembly of God Church in Mount Vernon, Texas, at 2:00 p.m. Jason Blankenship will be officiating.
