Craig Barrow  Simmons, Jr. age 59 of Dallas, Texas passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024, in Franklin County, Texas.

Craig was born to Craig Barrow  Simmons, Sr, and Gail Walker Simmons on January 26, 1965, in Dallas, Texas.

Craig attended Highland Park High School  (class of 1983) and the University of Oklahoma. He successfully ran his own business, Douty Simmons and Associates, for 28 years.

He was an avid road biker and outdoorsman. Some of his happiest moments were spent on sailboats in various tropical locations.

Craig was a gentleman with great wit and charm. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his father, Craig Simmons, Sr; his sister and brother-in-law, Leigh and David Fischer; Uncle and Aunt, Bob and Jane Walker; nephew, Simms Fischer and a cousin, Adam Walker.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Gail Walker Simmons.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
