David Leon Bell

David Leon Bell, age 60, of Ovalo, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 4, 2024.

David was born in Clarksville, Texas, on September 29, 1964, to Dan Durward and Margaret Alice (Palmer) Bell.

He is a graduate of Rivercrest High School class of 1983. David earned a bachelor’s degree from LeTourneau University. He was employed as a Regional Construction Manager for AEP.  He married Brenna Peterson on June 26, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. David loved cooking for his family, playing with Josie, and working around the farm.

David is survived by his wife, Brenna Bell; daughter, Josie Cheyenne Bell; parents, Durward and Margaret Bell; brothers, Danny and Linda Bell, Mike and Terri Bell; father-in-law, Mike and Leslie Peterson; and mother-in-law, Jill Peterson; brother-in-law, Connor Peterson, three nephews, a niece, cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Taylor Nicole Bell.

Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, October 11, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bogata Cemetery with Pastor John Hines officiating.
