Graveside funeral services for David Lee Fulmer 62, of Mount Vernon, Texas will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 24, 2020 at Stouts Creek Cemetery with Chad Roden officiating. Pallbearers will be Ray Harris, Dalton Eargle, James Sisk, Mark McQueen, Brett Gordineer and Jon Dees. Honorary Pallbearers are Tristan Rains and Camden Fulmer.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home.
Mr. Fulmer passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 in Sulphur Springs, TX. He was born on February 25, 1957 in Winnsboro, TX to the late George and Mary (Holmes) Fulmer. He married Mary Virginia Thompson on June 14, 1993 in Saltillo, TX and she preceded him in death on February 5, 2011.
Mr. Fulmer was a heavy equipment operator, of the Assembly of God faith, enjoyed working on cars, spending time with grandchildren and family. Also a member of the Mt. Vernon American Legion.
He is survived by two daughters; Elizabeth Fulmer of Hugh Springs, Krystal Fulmer of Saltillo; three sons, Joey Fulmer of Saltillo, Gary Fulmer of Mt. Vernon and David Lee Fulmer, Jr. and wife Megan of Mansfield, TX; Grandchildren, Diane Bruce, Joseph Bruce, Tristan Rains and Camden Fulmer; Sisters. Margie Overstreet and Sandra Duncan both of Pittsburg, Dicie Sisk of Mt. Vernon, Wanda Sechrist and Vickie Wallis both of Winnsboro. Brothers; George Fulmer, Jr., Donald Fulmer of Mt. Vernon, Ray Fulmer of Winnsboro, Jerry Fulmer of Arlington, Tommy Fulmer of Winnsboro. Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
