Debra Foil

Debra Mayhugh Foil, age 67 of Mount Vernon, Texas (formerly of Fort Worth, Texas), passed away at her home on Friday, April 5, 2024.

A family led memorial will be held at a later date.

Debra was born January 1, 1957, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Vernon and Mary Lou (Wilson) Mayhugh.

Debra was an RN in the Tarrant County area. Her enthusiasm for her patients and the students she led during her nursing career was something to marvel. She was also devoted to her daughters and their events, including being a Girl Scout Leader for many years. Her passions included her family, traveling, playing the slots and most importantly playing Bingo.

She married Maurice Foil, Jr. on March 17, 1987, in Mansfield, Texas. He survives her, as well as her daughter Tara and her husband David Potter, daughter Elizabeth and husband David Johnson, her grandchildren Taylor Potter (Kari Ann), Keely Potter (Ben Otto), and Poppyanne, her great-grandchildren Bentley and Walker, sister DeAnn Matney and her best friend/cousin Vonnie Hodges.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents, a sister Gail Mayhugh, and two brothers Gary and Alton Mayhugh.
