Obituary
Donnie Glenn Wilson, 86 of Pittsburg, Texas went to be with the Lord on February 26, 2023 in Longview, Texas.
Services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Temple in Mount Vernon, Texas with Pastor Troy Hollingsworth officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be: Cory Wilson, Monte Wilson, Wade Wilson, Paul Woody, Chad Wilson, and Brian Collings. Interment will be at North Hopkins Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Donnie was born June 2, 1936 in Dawson County, Texas to Ernest Felix and Edna “Bohannon” Wilson.
Most of Donnie’s life, he was in the road pavement business, owned and operated Wilson’s Asphalt.
He is survived by his daughter, LaDonna Wilson Wood and husband, Joe of Pittsburg, Texas; son, Rocky and wife, Lisa Wilson of Cushing, Texas; grandchildren, Susan and Rana White, Tonya and Brian Collings, Cory and Caitlin Wilson; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Clara, Hannah, Rylee, Piper, and Zoey; one brother, Jackie Wilson.
Donnie was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; his parents; his brother, Leon; and his son, Randy.
