Dr. Robert F. White, M.D.

Dr. Robert F. White, M.D., age 90, formerly of Mount Vernon, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025, in McKinney, Texas. He was born to Shelby S. and Gladys Lucile (Bugh) White in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on November 14, 1934.

The White family moved to Mount Vernon in 1972. Robert was a member of the Masonic Lodge #691. He married Patricia B. Gossett on December 25, 1952. Robert served his country in the United States Army. He was a part of the American Legion in Mount Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his spouse of 59 years, Pat B. White; parents, Shelby and Lucile White; his son, Chuck White; his sister, Marcile White; and a grandchild Lyra Stahl.

Robert is survived by his children and their spouses, Robert F. White, Jr. and Janet, Mark White, and Lynn and Rusty Turner; grandchildren, Chris and Kandice White, Wendy and Rick Smith, Amber and Billy Chamness, Misty and Brian Gingras, Bryan and Natalie White, Robert F. White III and Angel, Jessica and Blake Bigelow, Matthew and Andi Turner, Audrey White, Russell Stahl, Robby Stahl and Bionca Brown. Great grandchildren, Eli, Landon, Shelby, Ava, Farrah, Emerson, Penelope, Aubrey, Kayda, Trevor, Hadley, Tinley, Cortland, Mason, Charlie, Raylan, Junior, Phoenix, Achilles, Logan, Ara, Leo, Orion.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home with Chris White officiating. Serving as Pallbearers will be Chris White, Bryan White, Bob (Bink) White, Mark White, Bobby White, and Matthew Turner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Paul Black and Don Rose.
