Eva Geraldine (Fleming) McDonald

Eva Geraldine (Fleming) McDonald, lovingly known as "Nanny," passed away in Tyler, Texas, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. She was 83 years old.

Nanny was born on May 7,1942, in Paris, Texas, to Arthur R. and Lida A. (Fagan) Fleming. She later married the love of her life, Clifford McDonald, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories.

She is survived by her children, Tammy (Darren Grassmuck) McDonald and Tony (Donna) McDonald; grandchildren, Christopher McDonald, Colton (Selina Rodriguez) McDonald, Kyle Garant, Kelcie McDonald, Andrew (Tori) McDonald, and Grace Vella; her beloved great-grandchildren, Jett McDonald, Jax McDonald, baby McDonald, Ezra Meeks, Aiden Garcia, Dorian Garcia, Elias McDonald, Levi McDonald and Melione McDonald.

She is also survived by her siblings, Mary Ann Bayles, Judy Blackford, and Jerry (Ellen) Fleming; and her honorary sister and dear friend of over 40 years, Bernice Henderson- whom she met at a garage sale, one of her favorite pastimes. Nanny's faith in Christ is what always got her through difficult times.

Nanny will be remembered for her warm heart, her love of shopping and garage sales, her passion for word search puzzles, and her devotion to Wheel of Fortune. Her presence brought joy and laughter to those around her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
