Frances Monetta "Susie" Watson Short went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 24, 2022 in Mineola, Texas. Susie was born in Dallas, Texas, July 27,1941 to Cletus Warren Watson and Lessie Oleta Johnston Watson.

Susie married James Larry Short on October 25,1969.

Susie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Larry Short; a brother, Donald Watson; two sisters, Teresa Watson and Donna Watson.

She is survived by several cousins, including Leon Watson.

There will be a private burial and a Memorial service will be held at a later date.
