Geraldine (Jerry) Nan Payne, age 93, of Trinidad, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. She was born to the late Mike and Clarabelle Crawford Cooksey on April 29, 1926. Geraldine was married the love of her life, Bill Payne.

Bill and Jerry loved to travel in their motor home. They had great traveling buddies the Road Runners of Texas. Jerry was a devoted and hard worker as a PBX switchboard operator for 32 years for the Southern Union Gas Company. Jerry loved to sew, make crafts, and fix flower arrangements for her church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband Bill Payne.

She is survived by 2 sisters Mary Jo Chatinier of New Orleans, LA, Shirley Wendler of Temple, TX. Son, Stewart and wife Martha Anderson of Mesquite, TX; Daughter, Patty Howell and husband Dickie Howell of Trinidad, TX. Granddaughter, Jenny and husband Kraig Kitchen. Great grandsons, Landon and Jaxon Keylon and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed and forever in their hearts.
