Geremias Garcia

Geremias Garcia, age 68, of Mount Vernon, Texas passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 24, 2022.

Geremias was born on January 21, 1954 to Jesus and Elida (Reyna) Garcia in Mathis, Texas. He married Glenda Darlene Moore on December 31, 1999 in Paris Texas.  Geremias was a trucker and was honored with the “Million Miles Plus” award.  He loved going to churches and jumping rope; he always said he was jumping for Jesus. Jumping rope was the heart of his ministry

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Noe Garcia and sister, Elida Garcia.

Geremias is survived by his wife of 22 years, Glenda Garcia; son, Jeremy Garcia and daughter, Jennifer (Jose) Hernandez. Stepchildren, Ryan Glasscock and Velvet (Joshua) Harper.  Grandchildren, Zoe Garcia, Seanna Hernandez, Siarah Hernandez, Gabriel Hernandez and Joey Hernandez. Great grandchild, Sophia Hernandez. Siblings, Jesus, Jay, Cisco, Abel, and Cecilia.
