Harry “Butch” Tiller, 76 of Mount Vernon, Texas, passed away, Sunday, March 26, 2023, in Paris, Texas.
Butch was born to Harry L. and Bennie (Gaches) Tiller on March 24, 1947, in Dallas, Texas. He was a retired truckdriver and was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple in Mount Vernon, Texas.
Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Troy Hollingsworth officiating.
Butch married Elda Lou Hightower in January 1983.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lou Tiller; daughter, Jennifer Moore; son, Paul Moore and wife, Jenny; grandchildren, Abby Moore, Jake (Amanda) Moore; one sister, Mary Katherine (Eddie) Hurst; niece, Shannon (Adam) Gertner; brothers in law, Jimmy (Barbara) Hightower, Fred Hightower, David (Sandy) Hightower, Benny (Linda) Hightower, Johnny (Lynell) Hightower, Larry (Debbie) Hightower, numerous nieces and nephews.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Keith Fuller.
