Jack "Mike" Michael Ramsey

Jack Michael Ramsey, age 84, of Winfield, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at his home.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 24, 2024, at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home from 6-8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Mike Kessler and Fred Randles will be officiating. The pallbearers will be Bryan Gelwick, Jason Pearce, Greg Wilson, Rob Moore, Warren Williamson, and Max Cannaday. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Masonic Lodge #691 brothers. Interment will follow at the Mount Vernon City Cemetery.

Mike was born on July 28, 1939, in Euless, Texas to Sam Henry and Nettie (Conley) Ramsey. He married Barbara Ann Lester on February 27, 1965. He served in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Ramsey; parents, Sam and Nettie Ramsey; brothers, Tom Ramsey, Gene Ramsey, Hershal Ramsey and Roy Lee Ramsey; sisters, Helen Taylor, Annette Williams and Jo Hilliard; brothers-in-law, Morris Taylor, Dick Williams, Herman Hilliard; sisters-in-law, Bess Ramsey, and Barbara Jean Ramsey.

Survivors that will always cherish his memory son, Michael Ramsey and wife, Tawnette; daughter, Michelle Ramsey; grandchildren, Kristin and Preston Thompson, David and Danielle Ramsey, Jennifer Paty, Stacey Carnes; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Ray and Stella Ramsey, and Jim Ramsey. Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
