James Everett Martin, age 76, of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025.
Jim was born to Clarence E. and Evelyn G. (Owens) Martin on August 10, 1948, in Paris, Texas.
He had a body shop and was very successful until his health no longer allowed him to work. Jim loved fishing.
He is survived by his children, Carey and April Martin, Andrea Martin and John, Cynthia Delfatie, and Matthew and Valerie Martin; grandchildren, Andrew and Racine Martin, Ashleigh and Tyler Gray, Jessica, Ruby, Trent, Sadie, Megan, and Mila; great-grandchildren, Arlow Gray, and River Martin; brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Karen Martin; nieces and nephews, Sarah and Donavan Fields, Michael Martin, and Joshua Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Evelyn Martin; sister, Ann Martin.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home and visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Farmer’s Academy Cemetery with Pastor Bill Whitaker officiating. Pallbearers will be Carey Martin, Andrew Martin, Matthew Martin, Joshua Martin, Michael Martin and Trent Brown..
