Jarod Glynn Cash

Jarod Glynn Cash, age 41 of Royse City, Texas, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026, in Greenville, Texas.

He was born in Dallas, Texas, to Glynn and Brenda (Smith) Cash on September 9, 1984.

Jarod married Lisa Merrick on November 20, 2007. He worked as a Machine Operator for Pepsi. He loved writing and having family and friends over to sit by the fire pit and listen to music.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Lisa Cash; his daughter, Kaitlyn Cash; his step-children, Katlyn Merrick, Justin (Whitnee) Merrick; step-grandchildren, Brantley Merrick, Braxton Merrick; his father and step-mother, Glynn (Magdalena) Cash; brother, Brent Cash; aunts, Bonnie Bunch, Lela Anderson, Letha Knowlton and Sheila Gray; uncles, Sandy Cash and Adam Cash, Wesley and Faye Smith; numerous cousins and extended family.

Jarod was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Smith Cash.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 1:00 pm with the funeral immediately following at 2:00 pm at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home and the burial will be at Hagansport Cemetery.
