Obituary
Jennifer McGehee, age 78, of Mount Vernon, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Jennifer was born to Donald and Kate (Burke) LeBeau in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Troy McGehee on February 28, 1974. Jennifer was a housewife and loved her family. She enjoyed flowers, plants, watching her hummingbirds, and ceramic frogs. Jennifer loved spoiling the grandchildren and the great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Kate LeBeau; a son, Michael McGee and a sister, Kay Vaughan.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Troy McGehee; children and their spouses, son, Troy Leo and Sarah McGehee; daughter, Michelle and Michael Cupit; son, Kenneth and Chrissy McGehee; daughter, Amy and Mark Sustaire; grandchildren, Taylor McGehee, Michaela Cupit, Mikenna Cupit (Logan Morman), Karlee Lyon, Mackenzie Lyon, Travis McGehee, Tristan McGehee, Kaitlyn Morris, Garrett and Brooke Sustaire, and Jordan Sustaire (Hunter Stonaker); great grandchildren, Bren Sustaire and Reese Sustaire. Sister and brother-in-law, Mary and John Worthen. Nieces, nephews, and extended family.
There will be a Graveside service on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Macon Cemetery in Mount Vernon. Roger Burkes will be officiating, and pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
