Jerry Max Stanton

Jerry Max Stanton, age 74, of Mount Vernon, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at his home.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home.

Jerry was born to William Max and Reba Ann (Bankhead) Stanton on December 2, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  He served in the U.S. Navy and was a truck driver for Brooksey Crow Sand and Gravel for many years.  Jerry was a member of the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his daughters, Shannon Davis of Mount Vernon and Stephanie Hallford of Rockwall, TX; sisters, Martha Coe of Mount Vernon and Lynn Pennington of Mount Vernon and 6 grandchildren.
