Joe Allen Henry, age 60, of Hagansport, Texas passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 19, 2022 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
Joe was born on August 22, 1961 to Andrew Jackson and Kay Belle (Allen) Henry in El Plaso, Texas. He married Gayla Wood on February 26, 1982 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. He was a welder and boiler maker by trade. Joe worked on his dairy farm for 15 years and every story he told related back to the cows one way or another.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Henry.
Joe is survived by his wife of 39 years, Gayla Henry of Hagansport, TX; daughter, Monica Minter of Hagansport, TX; and son, Luke Henry of Hagansport, TX. Granddaughter, Vancidee Jo Minter of Hagansport, TX; mother, Kay Belle Allen Henry of Paris, TX; siblings and their spouses, sister, Cindy and Doug Feuge of Talco, TX, brother, Colin and Lisa Henry of Dallas, TX; sister, Jackqulyn Erwin of Dallas, TX; sister, AnnDelyn and Cary Guess of Mt. Pleasant, TX; sister, Jeri Jean and Joe Williams of Hagansport, TX; and brother, John Henry of Talco, TX. Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
