There will be a family led memorial service for John Wayne Hollingsworth on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. for family and friends to celebrate his life.

John Wayne Hollingsworth, 54, of Mount Vernon, passed on Monday, April 20, 2020, of complications due to lung cancer.  John was born on December 9, 1965, in Franklin County. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, Leta Mae West and Albert Wayne Hollingsworth.

He is survived by his children; Alexis Paige Hollingsworth of Snyder, TX, Adam Lane Calvert of Big Spring, TX, April Leanne and husband Justin Cooper of Leesburg, TX; his grandchildren, Katielynn Lane Heckler of Snyder, TX, Tye Lane Davis of Mt. Vernon, TX, Cody Lane Calvert of Mt. Vernon, TX, Adalie Kay Calvert of Big Spring, TX, and Oaklee Michelle Calvert of Big Spring, TX; his siblings, Missie Ann Sharp of Ardmore, OK, Barbara Sharp of Billings, MT, Kimberly Shields of Kettle Falls, WA, Debra Pope of Silverdale, WA; his brothers, David Sharp, Jr. of Ardmore, OK, Albert Wayne Hollingsworth of Savoy, TX, Delbert Dickson of Mattoon, IL, and Keith Hollingsworth of Whitewright, TX; his cousin, who was more like a brother, Jerrell Lykins of Mt. Vernon, TX.
