Jose Angelo Herrera, age 61 of Mt. Vernon, Texas passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 in Plano, Texas.

There will be a private family memorial service at a later date.

Angelo was born on January 4, 1959 in Paris, Texas to Cuahutemoc “Joe” Herrera and Doretha Mae Durant Herrera. He was a heavy equipment operator.

Angelo was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wayne Herrera.

Angelo is survived by his wife Mary Ann Herrera; son and daughter-in-law, Santino Brett and Erin Gordineer; daughters and sons-in-law, Crystal and Kevin Rogers, Melissa and Travis Rice, and Tiffany Bechelli; 9 grandchildren; sisters and their spouses, Deloris and William Jacobs, Teresa and James Taylor, Rita and Johnnie Foster, Sr., Cynthia Smith and Mike Lappin; brothers and their spouses, Joe and Rebekah Herrera, Jr., Jimmy and Carla Herrera.
