Joseph "Joey" Edward Earl Fulmer, 45, of Mount Vernon, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, in Tyler, Texas.
Joey was born to David Lee Fulmer and Glenda Gay Aynes Fulmer. He was lovingly raised by his father and his mother, Mary Virginia Fulmer.
Joey found joy in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed playing dominoes, building model cars, kayaking, and watching westerns. A natural jokester, his quick wit and infectious sense of humor brought smiles to everyone around him. He will be remembered for the laughter he shared, the memories he created, and the happiness he brought to his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Lee Fulmer; his birth mother, Glenda Gay Aynes Fulmer; his mother, Mary Virginia Fulmer; his grandparents, George and Mary Fulmer and Martha Redburn; his aunts and uncles, Jerry Fulmer, JR Fulmer, Clay Wells, Cindy Farrar, Tina Young and Clinta Redburn; and his cousin, Cory Chronister.
Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Elizabeth Fulmer, David Fulmer Jr. (Megan), Krystal Fulmer, and Gary Fulmer; his nieces and nephews, Dyann Alsobrook, Joseph Alsobrook, Tristian Rains, Camden Fulmer, Legend Fulmer, and Lyric Fulmer; and his great-nephew, Jordan.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held at the Franklin County Arts Alliance - Mount Vernon, Texas, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 2:00-6:00 pm.
