Joyce Ann (Roberts) Hill

Joyce Ann Hill, age 78 of Mt. Pleasant, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, in Tyler, Texas. Joyce was born April 15, 1945, in Dallas County, Texas to Oray Dee and Jewel Estelle “Nichols” Roberts.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 3:00 PM at the Old Saltillo Methodist Church with Don Sides officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior at 2:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Billy Davis, Patrick Davis, Craig Hill, Gene Hoffman, David Clark, and Kevin Haney.

Joyce married the love of her life, Wade J. Hill on February 23, 1963, in Duncanville, Texas, he precedes her in death. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

She is survived by her sons and their spouses, Allen and Maria Hill, Tommy and Gwen Hill; daughter, Cathy Hoffman; grandchildren, Crystal, Cassy, Kimberly, Ray, Mar’ce, Jared, Karli, Patrick, Jacob, and Keely; great grandchildren, Orlando, Landon, Samantha, Tanner, Sawyer, Colt, Baylor and Boston; 2 sisters and their spouses, Joan and Sonny Cobb, Sally and Bill Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Wade Hill; her parents, Oray Dee and Jewel Estelle Roberts; a brother, Gene Roberts.
