Joyce Lawana Jones

Joyce L. Jones, 86 of New Caney, TX (formerly of Mt. Vernon, TX) passed away Monday, August 3, 2020.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020, 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home.  Graveside service will be Friday, August 7, 2020 10:00 A.M. at Cypress Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Cotton officiating.  

She was born December 1, 1933 in Riverton, LA to Galliher A. and Eva Seay Reeves. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon, TX.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe W. Moseley and her second husband C.E. Jones; brother, James Reeves; sister, Judy Wright; daughter, Wanda Fitzgerald.

Joyce is survived by her sons; Joey (Billie Jean) Moseley of Winnsboro, Mark (Melanie) Moseley of Justin, TX; daughter, Tina (Ron) Lynch of New Caney, TX; sisters, Janette Haley of Lawton, OK, Jean Welch of Sheridan, AR, JoAnn Duckworth of Monroe, LA; brothers, Ronald Reeves of Monroe, LA, Jerald Reeves of Farmersville, LA, 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
