Judith Jean Monaghan, age 85, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025.
Judith was born to Clarence and Thelma (Diemer) Rubadeax on February 26, 1940, in Toledo, Ohio. She married James William Monaghan on May 5, 1962. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
Judith devoted her life to the well being of her family and friends. She was adored by all that had the pleasure to know her. Judy found a love for beauty, cosmetics and perfume working with her pharmacist father as a teen at a beauty counter. She spent 30 years in the industry in several roles representing many different lines. She was an avid bridge player which she learned from her mother and played in clubs and tournamentsand eventually became a life master. Judy enjoyed travel, shopping, dining always looking her best.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Thelma and her husband James; and one sister, Nancy Madden.
Survivors include her children and their spouses; sons, Todd Monaghan (Eric), Scott Monaghan (Shelley), daughter, Julie Monagahan; grandchildren, Ashley Teague, Lindsay Clary, Dustin Monaghan; great grandchildren, Billy, Kyla, Sadie, Sutton, Lincoln, Vincent, and Owen.
While the family is heartbroken they are also happy for her to be at peace with those gone before her after a long battle with Alzheimers. The family suggests tributes be made to the Alzheimers Association.
