Judy Beth Deal

Judy Beth Deal, age 66, of Mt. Vernon, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in Mt. Vernon, Texas.

There will be a Come and Go Visitation on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. 

There will be a Private Family Graveside service with Bro. Jake Jones officiating.  Pallbearers will be Kyler Deal, Richard Deal, Austin Salsbury, Craig Fountain, Les Glover, Lind Glover.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Zack Glover, Joe Glover, and Jimmy Laughton.

Judy was born on July 22, 1954 to John Joseph and Laura D. (Rogers) Glover in Mt. Vernon, Texas. She was a registered nurse.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Judy is survived by her son, Matt Deal and wife Crystal of Mt. Vernon, TX; 4 grandchildren, Kyler Deal (Taylor Ford), Kailee Deal (Austin Salsbury), Reagan Deal and Richard Deal; 2 great grandchildren, Austin Deal and Ali Deal; brothers, William Zack Glover and wife Fern of Crosby, TX, Joe Neal Glover of Mt. Vernon, TX; sisters, Minnie Birdsong of Mt. Vernon, TX, Barbara Kay Hume of Sulphur Bluff, TX, and Janet Marie Stanley and husband Dan of Talco, TX.  She had numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Minnie Laughton Birdsong Scholarship Fund for Mt. Vernon students.  The donation can be mailed to Marilyn Elbert: 360 CR NE 2050, Mt. Vernon, TX 75457.
