Kathryn "Kathy" Ann (Moss) Cannon

Kathryn A. (Moss) Cannon, age 80, of the Hagansport Community, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026, in Mount Vernon, Texas.

Kathy was born on June 11, 1945, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Jr. “Bird” and Lois (Stapp) Moss.

She married Kenneth “Sandy” Cannon on January 18, 1964, in Fort Worth, Texas, building 62 years of memories together. Kathy was known for her pies; at any event, whatever pie she brought would be the first to go. It did not matter the flavor—coconut, caramel, or chocolate. Kathy was a faithful member of Lake Chapel House of Prayer.

She is survived by her husband, Sandy; sons, Kenneth (Tina) Cannon and Kevin (Berto) Cannon; sister, Patsy (Don) Patterson; brother-in-law, Rob Cannon; special cousin, Stacie Newsom; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Bird and Lois Moss; and her sister, Kay Dill.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home, and the funeral service will be Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with Roger Burks and Pamela Barnard officiating. Pallbearers will be Wade Cannon, Rusty Barker, Cody Parris, Collin Harris, Eric Johnson and Aaron Johnson.

Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery.
