Kendale Shawn Qualls

Graveside services for Kendale Qualls are pending.  Services will be at Denton Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Texas with Devron Doss officiating.                                                                 

Visitation will be a come and go on Saturday, April 25, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Texas.

Kendale Shawn Qualls, age 25, of Sulphur Springs passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 in Sulphur Springs, Texas.  He was born on January 3, 1995 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Rodney and Jennifer Dunlap.

Kendale attended high school in Sulphur Springs.  He was fun and full of life.  He always made everyone laugh even if they did not want to.  Kendale enjoyed family gatherings and he was a patient and a kind father.  Kendale was very protective of his family and friends.  He worked as a contractor in construction work.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rodney Lamar Dunlap; grandfather, Don Qualls; and grandmother, Judy Qualls; Uncle, Jamie Doss.

Those left to cherish the memory of Kendale will be his mother, Jennifer Dunlap; son, Kevin Qualls; sisters, Kyla Dunlap, TaMarra Pina, Roddreica Dunlap, Artiesha Dunlap, Kristyn Davis; 5 nieces, 5 nephews including Major Sims; grandmother, Artie Doss; grandfather, Robert Clayton; god-family, Shelly, Leah, and Lucas Walker; uncle, Nate Doss; great aunt, Sonia Clayton; numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family; special friends, Jordan Morgan and her son Aiyden.
