Leta Nell (Zachary) Argenbright

Leta Nell (Zachary) Argenbright age 92, of Forney, Texas, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Mesquite, Texas.

Leta was born on January 4, 1934, to Ollie Richard and Rose Etta (Gossett) Zachary in Hagansport, Texas. 

She married the love of her life, James Argenbright on March 12, 1970, in Mount Vernon, Texas.

Leta is survived by her daughter, Mindy and husband, Steve Davenport; grandchildren, Des and husband, Ricardo Chavez, Jouett Davenport, and Jeb Davenport; great grandchildren, Alaska Chavez and Luca Chavez; her siblings, Richard and Nanci Zachary, Jimmy Zachary, Joan Burgess, Jerri Sue Mayfield, Glenn and Betty Zachary; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James; her parents, Ollie and Rose Etta Zachary; siblings, Donis Zachary, Wayne Zachary, Bob Zachary and Nadine Harwell.

Funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 11 am and visitation will be one hour prior at 10 am at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Mount Vernon City Cemetery.
