Linda Kay Miller

Linda Kay Miller, age 74, of the Hagansport Community passed away on  Friday, September 23, 2022 in Tyler, Texas.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home and the funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. with Steve Easterling and Hershel Dunham officiating.  Pallbearers will be Eric Miller, Jr., Daniel Miller, Joshua Seelbach, Aaron Reynolds, Zachary Beal and Fetzen Talsma.  Honorary pallbearer will be Matthew Seelbach. Interment will be at Hagansport Cemetery.

Linda was born March 21,1948 to Edgar Thomas and Dorothy Louise (Thomas) Sikes in Paris, Texas.  She married Floyd Junior Miller on December 18, 1964 in Paris, Texas.  Linda loved to bake and cook and teaching her grandchildren to bake brought her great joy.  She was a member of the Sulphur River Cowboy Church in Hagansport, Texas. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Dorothy Sikes; brothers, Edgar Sikes, Jackie Sikes, Howard Sikes and Phillip Sikes and sister, Dorothy Faye Sikes.

Those left to carry out her beautiful legacy will be her spouse of 57 years, Floyd Miller of Talco, Texas; Children and their spouses; daughter, Rebecca and Wayne Morris of Mocksville, North Carolina; sons, Jay and Teresa Miller of Talco, Texas and Eric and Amy Miller of Talco, Texas. Grandchildren and their spouses, Matthew Seelbach, Joshua and Courtney Seelbach, Lynda Kaye Seelbach, Daniel and Tammi Miller, Jordan and Aaron Reynolds, Hannah and Fetzen Talsma, Courtney and Zachary Beal, Eric Jr. and Lilly Miller, Brent McKnight, Brandy McKnight and Waylon Miller.. 15 great grandchildren. Sisters, Shirley Norwood of  Paris, Texas, Betty and Richard Bohler of Talco, Texas. Nieces, Nephews, friends, church family and extended family.
