Linda Rachel (Parker) Tosh

Linda R. (Parker) Tosh, age 79 of Mount Vernon, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at her home.

Linda was born on June 27, 1945, in Naples, Texas, to Emory Spear Parker and Johnnie Mae Smith Parker.

She was married to Billy Rex Tosh.

Linda Lou worked in School Cafeterias was last employed by Winfield School District as Cafeteria Manager. Everyone called her Granny and she took care of the world.

She is survived by her children; Brandi (Cameron) Stanley, Belinda (Brian) Boyd, Billy (Marsha)Tosh; grandchildren, Marci (Kayla Reyes) Stanley, Josh Stanley, Zane (Kinzie) Tosh, Joe Tosh, Hannah Glasco, Corbin Glasco, Haley Glasco, Allysah Boyd, Allyson (Koby) Kelley, Ashtyn Boyd; great- grandchildren, Peanut, Little Cody, Salem, and Dakota; brother, Jimmy (Barbara); sister, Mary Ellen Tosh; sisters-in-law, Patricia Cline, and Gale (Jim) Roberts; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Rex Tosh; her parents, Emory and Johnnie Mae Parker; and a grandson, Dakota Wyatt Tosh.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 6-8 pm at Sam B Harvey Funeral Home and the Funeral Service will be at 2 pm Sunday, October 20, 2024, in the Chapel of Sam B Harvey Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Lauter officiating. Burial will follow at Macon Cemetery. Pallbearers are her grandsons, Zane Tosh, Joe Tosh, Corbin Glasco, Josh Stanley, Kolby Kelley and granddaughter, Marcie Stanley. Honorary Pallbearers are the granddaughters, Hannah Glasco, Haley Glasco, Allysah Boyd, Allyson Kelley, and Ashtyn Boyd.
