Louie Vance Rogers “Bubba”, 51, of Mount Vernon passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
A come and go visitation for Vance Rogers will be on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Graveside services will be on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mount Vernon City Cemetery with Ken Clay officiating.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Rogers, Kent Rogers, Kyle Rogers, Michael Gentry, Colin Clasby, and Randy Edge.
Vance was born in El Reno, Oklahoma on December 27, 1968 to Larry Dean Rogers and Peggy Rue Evans Rogers. Vance never met a stranger and always greeted everyone with a hug. He would introduce everyone to each other. Vance had a heart of gold and everyone loved him. He enjoyed listening to country music like Alabama and Johnny Cash. Vance loved playing on his guitar.
Vance is preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Peggy Rogers; brother-in-law, Roy Webber.
Survivors include his sister, Karla Webber of Mount Vernon, TX; niece, Julie Knotts and husband Chad of Winnsboro, TX; cousins, Sami Muniz and husband Arturo and family of Mount Vernon, TX, Kevin Rogers and family of Mount Vernon, TX, Kent Rogers and family of College Station, TX, Kyle Rogers and family of Mount Vernon, TX and numerous cousins, family and friends.
