Patricia Marie (Carrell) Smyers

Patricia Marie (Carrell) Smyers age 78, of Powderly, Texas passed away in Paris, Texas,on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

Pat was born July 10, 1947, to Joseph Thomas and Virgina Marie (Clous) Carrell. Pat was raised in the Hagansport community of Franklin County, Texas.

She was a member of Gospel Lighthouse in Powderly, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Virginia Carrell; husband, Willliam Smyers; brother, Ronnie Carrell, and a sister, Esther Malone.

Pat is survived by her children and their spouses, John and Lorri Brodie, Samantha and Tom Cooley, Linda and Shane Arnold; grandchildren, Kristy, Mica, Jake, Felicia, Alex, Johnathon, Allie, Savannah, James, Kyleigh, Jack and Cassidy; great-grandchildren, Shainah, Kanyon, Cleo, JD, Juniper and Rosie; her siblings, JoAnn (Paul) Stewart, Donna Vaughan, Angie Templeton, Ronald  (Shirley) Carrell, and Larry (Karen) Carrell; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 2 pm at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home and visitation will be one hour prior at 1 pm. With Pastor Angie Hunnicutt officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
