Reba June Bennett, age 87 of Mount Vernon, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025.
She was born November 15,1937, to Horace A. and Annie Bell (Woods) Howeth, one of eleven children in Cement, Oklahoma.
Reba loved shopping at Brookshires, Dollar General and Wal-Mart. She was a faithful member of First Baptist. She loved her church and pastor. Reba worked for the Optic Herald under Bob and Pat Wright for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" A. Bennett, her parents, Horace and Annie Howeth; seven of her siblings.
Reba is survived by her children, Pam McFarland, Daniel (Tammy) Milhorn, Rick (Dawn) Milhorn; grandchildren, Lindsay (Jason ) Becker, Rusty (Meredith) McFarland, Stephanie (Mike ) Brownlow, Brandon (Katie) Milhorn, Keaton Milhorn, and Jordan Milhorn; great grandchildren, Cordelia Becker, Amelia Becker, Ryleigh McFarland, Maddox McFarland, Kaitlyn Brownlow, Pepper Ann Milhorn, Brooklyn Milhorn and Colter Alan Milhorn; siblings, Eugene Howeth, Darlene Nobles and Ann Long.
