Roger Lee Puckett

Roger Lee Puckett passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

Roger was born on September 1, 1960, to Wilford and Erna (Fries) Puckett, in Washington, D.C. He married the love of his life Rebecca Heddens on December 18, 1989. Roger  was a hard worker that loved his family deeply. He was a dedicated  truck driver and owner of Puckett Transport. Roger took great pride in his work and he found joy in traveling  the United States seeing the country through the windshield of his big rig. His passion for model trains was a hobby that brought him much joy and satisfaction.

Roger was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Wilford and Erna Puckett; sister Nancy Burch; sister Oslinda Bott.

Left to cherish Roger’s memory are his loving wife of thirty-five years, Rebecca Heddens Puckett; sister Mary-Ulla Lee; nieces Katherine Collins, Angel Dale, and Nicole Lee; nephews Michael Shaw, Greg Harrison Jr., Barrett Burch and Tommy Burch; great nieces Lacey Hayter and Deziray Glasco and numerous cousins.

No formal funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations may be made to the Cancer Foundation in Roger’s memory.
