Ronald (Ronnie) Dee Butler

Ronald Dee Butler, age 84, of Mount Vernon, Texas passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023.

Ronnie was born on November 3, 1938, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Joe and Myrene (Byrom) Butler. 

He enjoyed fishing and gardening and was a member of the Texas Chapter Federation of B.A.S.S.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Nina Butler.

Ronnie is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Linda Bentley of Mount Vernon; daughters, Debra Malone and husband, Jeffery of Morris, Oklahoma and Dona Lunk and husband, Tim of Vinita, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Maegan Johnson of Morris, OK, Travis (Megan) Malone of Morris, OK, T.J. (Karly) Lunk of Pryor, OK, Kaitlyn (Dallas) Daignault of Claremore, OK, Bethany (Derek) Dillman of Pryor, OK, Faith (Harley) Lair of Vinita, OK, Madison (Cody) Arnold of Vinita, OK; great-grandchildren, McKaylah Johnson, Gage Johnson, Shiloh Johnson, Laynie Johnson, Hagen Malone, Ava-Mae Malone, Everett Daignault, Wilder Daignault, Emmett Dillman, Paisley Dillman, Oaklynn Lair, Cedar Lair. One sister, Dona (Al) Bell of North Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
