Roseanne Stanley Bankhead, age 69, of Mt. Vernon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
Roseanne was born on December 6, 1952 in Denton, Texas to J.P. and Essie (Hightower) Stanley. She was a jeweler by trade.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, William Randy Bankhead.
Survivors include her son, James (J.T.) Bankhead; granddaughter Marissa Bankhead; close friend, David McInvale; Second mom, Nora Holder all of Mt. Vernon, Texas; Sister, Patresia Holder of Mesquite, Texas and Numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 1:00 at the Mt. Vernon First Baptist Church and the funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pepper Puryear Officiating. Pallbearers will be Sam Vella, Adam Rawls, and Ray Dubey. Interment will be at Purley Cemetery.
