Sandra Nell Crow

Sandra Nell (Mauldin) Crow, age 79, of Mount Vernon, Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Sandra was born in Miro, Texas, on March 18, 1945, to Orvis Ray and Mary B. Mauldin. She was the oldest of three children.  Sandra married Lanny Crow on November 20, 1975, and together they built a life filled with love and joy. She was a dedicated member of the Red Hat Society. Sandra served her community as a member of the Bogata City Council. She worked many years at Pine Tree ISD cafeteria in Longview. As a devout Christian, she gave her life to Christ under the ministry of Pastor Ray Cuttingham in 1954. Sandra’s love for God, her family, and her community was evident in everything she did.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Howard Ray Mauldin; and her sister, Mary Lomax

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 49 years of marriage, Lanny Crow of Mount Vernon; 2 sons, Dale York of Austin, TX and Corey Crow of Henderson, TX; 2 granddaughters, Lindsey Tomlinson and Delane Shryack and her husband, Landon; 3 great grandchildren, Emmett, Amelia, and Levi; special daughter-in-law, Lisa York; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Purviance officiating. Interment will be at the Bogata City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be RJ Crow, Aaron Dale Martin, Douglas Brandon Williams, Kevin Williams, Landon Earley, Aaden Williams and Cody Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Lyle Williams, Bryan Crow, Brooksey Crow, Jr, and Bradley Moore.
