Sarah Lou Parchman

Sarah Lou Parchman, age 86, of Mt. Vernon, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at her home.

There will be a come and go visitation on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home from 2:00 – 7:00 P.M.  Graveside services will be on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the Mt. Vernon City Cemetery with Bro. Pepper Puryear officiating.  Pallbearers will be John Parchman, Jeff Parchman, Sidney Hicks, Scott Stinson, Tim Merrel, Ronnie Barker.

Sarah was born on February 1, 1934 in Texarkana, AR to Grady and Mildred Spradlin Williams.  She worked as an inspector at Aero Star and was a charter member of the Key Club.  Sarah married Jerry David Parchman on February 1, 1954 in Mt. Vernon, TX.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, J.D. Parchman.

Sarah is survived by her sons, David Parchman of Mt. Vernon, TX, Coy Parchman and wife Debra of Mt. Pleasant, TX; grandsons, John Parchman, Jeff Parchman and wife Jamie; great granddaughters, Jessie Parchman, and Jadie Parchman; sisters, Charlene Palmer of Austin, TX, Diane Qualls, of Ft. Smith, AR, Vickie Barnes of Poteau, OK, Mary Morris of Broken Bow, OK; brother, Grady Lee Williams of Conway, AR.
